Hi Leonard, I certainly think you're onto something there. That may be the exact reason there is so very little concrete discussion of the 'day after' as that conversation lets more than Israel gain access to that area. The proported excuse of keeping all out from a warzone (which itself is not a truly valid reason) doesn't hold if the war ends.

There has been a worrying report recently of US private military ("security contrators") moving in to occupy the corridor, which would suggest Bibi is going to lean on (aka exploit) that old US legal chestnut of indemnifying private military contrators from their actions. Muddy the waters, spread the liability to 3rd parties in the US.... with enough of these occupying wardens of Gaza and it'll be impossible for any other truly independant third party to break through the lines of red tape to get actual access for documentation and evidence gathering.

It ties the US even further to Isreal's liability in Gaza, ensuring even more diplomatic cover....from Bibi's perspective, just in case Trump ever does find a backbone and balk he (and by extension the US) won't be able to back out then.

Truly shameful.
